Designation
- For processing corners and hard-to-reach places of workpieces by normal pressure of the tool on the processed material, for removing varnish and corrosion, as well as for wide use in industrial conditions
- Suitable for steels of standard strength, wood and wood products of different hardness, as well as non-ferrous metals and their alloys, e.g. aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and others
- They are not suitable for processing stainless steel
Description
Recommended angle during machining 5˚ - 15˚:
the flat shape of the T27 disc pad with lamellas lowered around the perimeter allow the contact surface to be concentrated for machining hard-to-reach places
Primary raw material - sanding belts with an applied layer of aluminum oxide abrasive grains (industrially produced corundum):
long service life and very good material removal when machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals of medium hardness
Abrasive backing type:
X-heavy cotton
Flexible lamellas of a special shape extending beyond the edge of the pad:
perfectly copy the edges of the workpiece and allow a significant improvement in efficiency when grinding in corners, curved surfaces and other hard-to-reach places
Lamellas machine-cut from sanding belts and laid radially around the perimeter with an accuracy of 0.5mm:
precise final product for efficient work
Plate mat made of 7-layer fiberglass:
high structural safety and destruction resistance
Special glue based on epoxy resin:
for a secure connection of the slats to the base plate
Optimum lamellae density for efficient machining:
the chosen number is the result of long-term testing and mainly depends on the diameter and grit of the tool
The grain size is standard in the range of P40 to 120 according to FEPA (100 to 500 µm):
enables the selection of a suitable tool from rough grinding to fine finishing work
