Designation
- For fast drilling of blind and through holes with electric and cordless drills
- Especially ideal for drilling large diameter holes required in carpentry, joinery, electrical and plumbing work, e.g. door locks, cable grommets, etc.
- Suitable for drilling into hard wood, soft wood, chipboard, soft building materials, etc.
Description
Sharp central tip and two pre-cutting edges on both sides, precisely ground special cutting geometry:
precise drilling and guidance of the drill without tearing out the edges of the drilled hole
The possibility of connecting the DW-80 extension attachment:
a suitable accessory that allows the body of the flat drill to be extended
1/4" shank (6.35mm OD hexagon):
allows use in three-jaw chucks and also in screwdrivers with 1/4" quick-release system
Made of C60 carbon tool steel (0,57 - 0,65% carbon):
the standard raw material for this type of drill bit is C45 steel with a lower carbon content
Recommendation:
Always work with a sharp drill bit. When drilling diameters of 10 - 40mm, drill at speeds in the range of 1,500 - 500 rpm. The smaller the diameter, the higher the speed and vice versa.
