Designation

  • For all applications under standard industrial conditions with hand tools as well as for conventional electric and cordless screwdrivers. Not suitable for hammer drill drivers and impact drivers

Description

    Precision-machined bit tip:
    fits snugly into the head of the screw, minimising the possibility of damage to the head during screwing

    Hardened from tip to shank:
    the same properties over the entire length of the bit

    Heat treatment optimised for the intended use:
    the bit is sufficiently hard and tough for use in standard industrial conditions

    Primary material S2 (chromium-silicon-manganese-molybdenum-vanadium steel):
    ideal for extremely durable, high-quality bits

    With ¼" hexagonal shank (form E 6.3 according to DIN ISO 1173):
    suitable for clamping in three-jaw chucks and for all 1/4" standard hexagonal bit holders (form D 6.3 according to DIN ISO 1173)

    Surface finish / hardness:
    grey phosphated /HRC 58~59

    Warning:
    the standard bit is not suitable for impact driving
