Designation
- Especialy for the maintenance of power tools with commutator motors with an input of more than 1000W, where the length of the blades does not generally exceed 20mm
- Also suitable for grinding / sharpening the edges of steel bladed tools (knives, chisels, etc.), but due to the grit of P600 and P1500 this is mostly coarse grinding
Description
Removes unevenness from the commutator surface:
this ensures better contact with the carbon brushes, significantly reduces sparking and extends the life of the motor
Dimensions 20x150x5mm (w x d x h) in two grit sizes:
P600 for coarse and P1500 for fine commutator surface finish
Main raw material:
industrially produced white corundum
Recommendation:
Do not use coarse grit P600 unless it is necessary due to the technical condition of the commutator
Caution:
Extra care must be taken when treating the commutator under power. Careless handling may result in electric shock, so use protective equipment, especially gloves with sufficient electrical insulating properties.
