Description
Primary raw material - layer of abrasive zirconium grains (80%) bonded by synthetic resin to a 0.8mm thick vulcanised fibre backing:
very good removal especially when machining stainless steel, higher strength steels etc.
Necessity of using a backing plate:
the properties of the backing plate (hardness, elasticity) are decisive for the type of work to be carried out and the design of the backing plate is a key factor for safety at work
Grain size standard in the range P24 to 80 according to FEPA (850 to 200 µm):
allows the selection of the appropriate tool from coarse sanding to finer cleaning
