Designation
- For drilling into metal from non-alloyed and alloyed steel and steel-alloyed metals up to a strength of 800 N/mm2, grey cast iron, non-ferrous metals, bronze, etc.
- Suitable for conventional electric drills, bench drills and cordless screwdrivers with chuck
Description
Right-hand drill bits with cylindrical shank made of HSS M2 high-speed steel, with reinforced core:
high resistance to drill bit breakage during drilling
Point angle 118° with "split point" according to DIN 1412 C (for diameters of 3 mm and more):
only slight resistance to sliding is felt when drilling, ensures very good chip evacuation of the drilled material and prevents slipping when drilling on rounded objects without prior pitting
Sharp drill bit chips:
Good for removing long chips, especially when drilling softer materials
Drill bit surface polished, without additional coating:
It reduces friction when drilling and allows sharpening of the tip and the whole spiral
Recommendation:
Use cutting oil when drilling for increased durability
