Designation
- For drilling in glass, ceramics, tiles, mirror glass, porcelain, etc.
- Suitable for drilling without hammering with conventional electric drills and cordless drilling screwdrivers
Description
Large main and two side cutters made of sintered carbide with tungsten:
a special, improved version of the drill bit (conventional glass drills are equipped with only one - main cutter)
Cross-shaped tip with 90° blade spacing:
minimises cracking of the substrate material even with inadvertent higher drilling pressure
1/4" shank (6.35mm OD hexagon):
allows use in three jaw chucks and also in screwdrivers with 1/4" quick-release system
Recommendation:
when drilling, proceed slowly, do not push and drill without hammering. Choose a low speed, for a range of 3 - 8mm drill at approx. 100-400 rpm. The smaller the diameter, the higher the speed and vice versa. When drilling, cool the working part of the drill bit with water if possible, a continuous, small stream of water is best
