Designation
- For clamping tools with the QC-RS (Quick Connect – Rolled System) quick clamping system, equipped with a plastic clamping element with a compatible external thread
- Optimal for precise grinding of small areas as well as for grinding uneven surfaces with dedicated tools
- Ø 45mm: for 50mm accessories, max speed 25,000 /min.
- Ø 70mm: for 75mm accessories, max speed 20,000 /min.
Description
Flexible backing pad design:
follows the uneven surface of the workpiece when grinding
Integrated metal insert with two internal threads:
an M6 metric thread for a firm connection of the backing pad to the clamping shank or adapter, and on the opposite side, a special QC-RS thread for quick clamping of interchangeable grinding tools with a compatible external thread.
Made of Nitrile Rubber:
good mechanical strength, resistant to abrasion and aging, as well as to oils and other similar chemicals
Stable properties over a wide temperature range:
a slight change in properties occurs at ambient temperatures below -20°C and during prolonged grinding and overheating of the pad to a temperature of more than 120°C
Warning:
do not exceed the maximum speed when working (25.000 rpm for Ø 45mm, 20,000 rpm for Ø 70mm)
