Made of profiled aluminium:
lightweight precision rail weighing only 1200 grams

Interlocking:
with the HERMAN GR-12 fastener sets, interlocking several rails is quick and easy

Two 25mm wide parallel strips of soft non-slip foam rubber:
with very good non-slip grip and protection of the workpiece surface against damage (scratches). Made of EPDM (EPDM = Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer = Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber = a kind of synthetic rubber)

Edge, 19mm wide and 2mm thick black rubber with smooth surface, glued longitudinally on the underside of the guide bar on the cutting side, with two functions:
when sawing wood-based workpieces, it minimises tearing of the fibres on the upper surface layer of the workpiece (the edge of the rubber presses on the workpiece from above) and for a more precise fit of the guide bar to the cutting line.

Hanging storage hole:
simply hang the rail after the work is finished

Compatibility of the guide rail profile:
allows use with the sliding feet of the HERMAN AXCS-1800 and 1801 hand circular saws
